I have this iPhone 7 that won't restore

I was playing on my iPhone 7, suddenly the screen froze and I thought nothing of it and turned the it off using this method by holding the power and the volume down button I managed to turn the phone off.

I then tried to turn it on by holding the power button. The phone started up naturally and then it just turned off and turned on and kept repeating the process. I thought by then something was fishy.

I did the most logical thing and put the phone in recovery mode and tried to restore the phone, while restoring the phone everything went smooth, but in the part where it says "verifying iphone restore" it just got stuck. I also tried DFU mode, but still no luck the same thing happens everytime.

The progress bar under the apple logo in the screen wouldn't progress. I put the phone there for one hour and still nothing happen, the phone only got hot.

I am in the verge of giving up please help me with this. I guess this has to do something with the hardware? I just need to know what so I can replace it.

Update (12/01/2017)

Something else that I noticed is my phone disconnects from the computer every time it tries to restore. If the progress bar shows up the phone automatic disconnects from the computer.

Did iTunes generate an error message at some point?

A lot of things could cause this to happen so perhaps you should let us know what happened to the phone in the days/weeks leading up to this. Was the phone dropped, damaged, repaired or came into contact with water?

Hardware issues could be at the subsystem level (screen, camera, sensor etc.) or at the component level on the logic board. It's very difficult to troubleshoot remotely and ideally, you need to have some known-good replacement parts to do it properly. Are you are comfortable opening the device (the iPhone 7 has some gotcha's, especially with the screen flexes and the Home Button)?

It didn’t generate any error. I have never dropped the phone or it being in contact with water etc. That is what is worrying me.
