Why wont my iPhone 6 turn back on after battery replacment

i recently just replaced my iphone 6 battery, i followed the steps properly. but the iphone wont turn on. It only turns on when connected to a charger, and it only turn on for like 3 secs then it turns off and the process is repeated

It sounds like the battery could be severely discharged or even defective. Can you measure the voltage of the battery at the connector? It should be 3.5V or higher. Try leaving your phone connected to a charger overnight to see if this helps.

If the phone still doesn't boot up, it could be either a defective battery or damage to the logic board when you did the swap.

Also I checked my voltage it's 3.62V previous battery doh was a 3.82V could this prove to be a problem

At those voltages, the phone should boot fine. Fully charged, the battery will measure ~4.2V. Leave it on charge all night and check again tomorrow. As for the logic board, poor quality chargers can cause damage to the charge circuitry. You can't "see" the damage, it has to be probed and troubleshooted by a micro-solderer.
