problem with the frontpanel replacment

i do the frontpanel replacement. with the frontpaneltoolkit from ifixit. i do it right after the repair-guide. now my iphone do not work anymore. after press the power-botten, the iphone lights up in dark grey for a few seconds, then its go back to a black-screen. all the connectors i try plug/unglug a few times, nothing change.

when i connect the iphone to my mac, the mac recognized the iphone, itunes starts up and so on! what did i wrong?

you need to check that firstly you have the right part. a 3g screen will not work in a 3gs phone

2nd it is possible that you have broken the lcd or it was faulty

3rd- the backlight may be the problem- in which case take a good look at the pins on connector 1 for dirt and damage, if they are ok then you will need the backlight coil replaced-many online shops are advertising this or you can google it and do it yourself if you feel confident

how can i check, if i recived the right frontpannel? i order the right one, that i've checked. backlight seems to be o.k.

all the connectors lock cleen and intact.

There is a very small number on the cable- contact ifixit to check they have shipped the right part.

Also check your connectors to the rest of the phone are on properly/ cleaned
