Tv screen is dark and back lights are blinking. No sound either

My tv will not turn on. No sound or picture. I plug it in and the power light blinks along with the back LED lights. Tv does not respond to remote either. Got a Tcon board and power supply board. Neither fixed the problem.

. Not sure if this video will upload properly. Took the back panel off and all the LED lights blink simultaneously in one second intervals.

Here is a picture of the power supply board. Thanks for all the help.

I have the same issue. I disconnected the power board from the main board and it still blinked. I then disconnected the the led connector from the top of the top of the power board and plugged it in. Now i could turn the tv off and on and did the flash light test and could see a picture. I believe this is telling me my LED's are bad. I am going to attempt the LED replacement since it isn't that costly. I think its $89.00 from shopjimmys. My only concern is the glass panel and not breaking it when I lift it up off the tv...

Hi Doug, can you confirm the LEDs fixed the issue?

kmcdpine not sure what you mean your back LED lights are blinking. Since you already changed the power board and the T-con board your next candidate would be the main board. Let us know if those lights blink in a pattern or if they just continue to blink. Post some video of what the blinking looks like with your question Use this guide Voeg afbeeldingen toe aan een bestaande vraag for that. It will allow us to see what you see.

kmcdpine darn. that is definitely blinking-) Can you post a really good image of the power board with your question? This looks like your inverter causing this and should be part of the power board. I know you got a new one but there are some issues with the Samsung boards.

posted a pic for you to look at.

Just checked if there are any known issues with your power supply board but there are not, however the LED strips in this model are prone to failure. Since your new power board did not fix the problem, it is likely that your LED strips have failed. Power supply and LED strips failures cause similar symptoms in these models. Part number for the LED's is BN96-29074A/BN96-29075A Check on here http://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung-bn96-29... for replacements.

replacing the LED strips is a lengthy process. I've tried everything else except the main board, so I'll give it a shot. Thanks for all your help.
