Whenever I try to power on my Mid 2012 MBP it starts to turn on but the sleep indicator light flashes and I hear a feint click and then it turns its self off. Screen stays black the entire time.

The click is the hard drive spinning down and the head locking, this is normal.
Which the MagSafe plugged in what is the color of the cord?

I'm an idiot. It's working now. Forgot to plug in outlet side...
Still keep hearing the clicking noise from time to time. There any quick fix for that? Don't remember any of my friends old MBP with the same issue.

You just noticed it this time ;-}
Some drives are a bit more noisy than others when they go into park. And don't forget if you're in a very quiet place you're more likely to hear it as well.
