Run through test.

  • How long have you had the phone?
  • Have you replaced the battery at any given point, or does the phone have a history of replacement?
  • If you're able to connect it to a computer back up the device so you have your data saved.
  • With the device disconnected, can you perform a soft reset to see if the apple logo will display. This is done by holding the power button + home button together until the logo appears.

*If Restoring doesn't work, inspect the battery. I strongly encourage you have a technician do this in the event something happens to the battery, for safety reasons. Battery might be damaged and may need replacement

  • See a tech to do a battery test. We have some techs that use a test battery to ensure if the problem lies with the battery itself or if it's more in depth with hardware/the motherboard.

Hope this helps.

hi thanks for the feedback but i'm not able to connect the phone to computer. already perform the soft reset but it doesn't work

If you're unable to you can put the phone in DFU mode, see the link. I would still give it a shot at the restore. This corrects the firmware issue if any exists.

you can't restore a dead phone. you can't fix hardware problems with software solutions. waste of time.

This is true, but it is best practice to at least build a rapport in order to narrow the issue.

Hmm I am not a iPhone expert but this sounds like a tigirs or tristar issue. What charger are you using? Have you used a low quality or anything other than a genuine apple charger recently?

So your iPhone 5s won't charge.

The tool that you need to determine what kind of problem you have is a usb ammeter. When you connect the phone to a charger with a usb ammeter in line, you can see the charging current that the device consumes. If normal--then you have a charge reporting problem, either bad battery or a missing filter in the gas gauge line on the board. If abnormal--you have an actual charging problem which can either be parts or motherboard. Rule out parts by replacing the battery and overlaying a known good charge port to see if the motherboard can charge. If that doesn't solve, you have a motherboard level charging problem where the usb handshake chip "tristar" is bad from use of a non-Apple, non-certified charger. Send out to microsolderer for board repair.
