Backlight not working board level values included

The backlight on a customers Macbook Pro is not working after a small amount of liquid came in contact with the lcd connector. I do a lot of micro soldering work on iPhones but this macbook is sending me in circles. Heres what I have:

BKL_EN = 6.4v

Fuse = Good

Pin 3&4 on LCD conn = 16.3v

Diode mode on pins 3&4 = .531

BLK_PWR = 6.4v

I am wondering why I am not getting enough boost to send it 25v+

Any help would be much appreciated, please don't just say "Send to apple". I am here looking for a board level solution to the problem.
