Memory Card Slot 1 & Controller Port 2 Not Working

I just recently fixed my PS2's internal ribbon cable connections, only to discover that now controller port 2 and memory card slot 1 aren't working. However, memory card slot 2 and controller port 1 are working fine.

I tried pulling up the pins on the slot so they'll come in contact with the card, but it's still not able to read it.

My system is an SCPH-39001

Had it since 2002, then it stopped working in 2009, finally got to fixing it and it's 2017.

Update [17 Aug 2017]: Some or more of the pins on the module for the ribbon cable seems to be slightly bent out of place now

Update [6 Sep 2017]: Got a new ribbon cable and controller ports & memory card slots module. Still can't get them to work, but the contacts seem to be working fine from the board to the cable to the module.

So that does it, right? If those pins are bent it means that by changing the module you will solve your problem??

@xzts if your pins are bent you want to make sure that they are all lining up. Post some images of what it looks like with your question. Use this guide Voeg afbeeldingen toe aan een bestaande vraag for that so we can see what you see. You did not tell us what and how you "recently fixed my PS2's internal ribbon cable connections" this could be connected to that. If things are working before a repair and then quit working, there is always a suspicion of things having gone wrong.
