Are the USB-C ports properly shielded?
My MBP suffers from non-existent WiFi if I plug in my Anker HDMI adapter. After doing some research, USB 3 and up apparently cause too much noise in the 2.4 GHz band. Intel has a white paper on it
I've tried various tin-foil shielding tricks and I'm starting to think the EMC issues are in the MBP. Page 16 of the Intel doc says:
It is critical that the receptacle connector shield be connected to a metal chassis or notebook enclosure through grounding tabs or screws. The receptacle connector should have a back-shield to ensure that the receptacle connector is fully enclosed.
If someone with a torn-down MBP could have a look at the ports and comment on the shielding there, that'd be awesome.

I sold a MBP Retina 15" latest model to a customer and they are suffering from the same exact issue.
I will follow up with what we find out but our initial thought was either software bug or laptop hardware failure that we could possibly warranty from Apple.
Your point of view is interesting. We'll research it.

I think this goes beyond just the 2.4ghz band. I'm experiencing an issue where my Bose QC20 headphones emit a lot of nasty interference when noise cancelling is enabled and my MBP's USB-C supply is connected. It doesn't even have to be connected to the MBP, it just has to be in proximity to it. Literally if I have the cable within ~3 feet of my MBP, I get terrible interference, with the interference getting worse as I move it closer to the MBP. Unplugging the brick stops it immediately.
How's that for "it just works"?

@James Hardwick - That sounds like you got a bad power duckhead or cable. Apple did have a recall on them: Apple AC Wall Plug Adapter Recall Program as well as Apple Recalls Faulty USB-C MacBook Charging Cables
