It's possible to enable another 3G band
Hi , I have a LG G4 H811 from t-mobile, there is any chance to activate the 3g 900mhz band?

Usually impossible because the hardware is actually missing some RF parts, but I have yet to check this exact model.

I used this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus... and enabled the band, when I restarted the phone and searched for networks I could see the WCDMA network but I could not register on it.
That guide only changes the parameter of the baseband ports, if the transceiver and PAs are not capable of 900MHz UMTS, it cannot work.
but can you confirm me if the transceiver and PAs are capable or how can I know that info?
That you need to check the exact circuit part list, I only know about the iPhones, which has all 2G TX on a signal route, if the 3G TX did not cover this band, you cannot connect to that band.
Maybe same for H811, it has 900 under 2G but not 3G, maybe that's why.

Activate the 3G? Why is it off? Are you still using your cell service?
