Do they make a glue of some sort for a ribbon strip?

Ive had to replace my LCD and glass screen a couple of times and now after a few months the touchscreen doesn't work unless I put pressure on the top right where the ribbon strip plugs in. I've had to open it up and snap the strip back down in the past but now it doesn't want to stay snapped in. Is there some sort of glue for electronics such as that? I may have to close something against it to keep pressure on it. It may work for a while.

You do not wanna really use adhesive or glue on this. It might ruin the port in which your flex cable goes it to. What you might wanna use it maybe a piece of electrical tape. This will help because if you ever have to replace it again, you can jist peel off the tape. And the adhesive on it will also be able to be taken off as well.

Good call on the electrical tape although I didn't use it to tape it. I rolled up enough to keep pressure against the strip and closed it up. Working good for now.
