My phone won't turn on properly.

A few weeks ago I accidentally dropped my phone in the toilet. I took it out and I dried it and then I put it in rice. Then the next day I was able to turn on my phone. But it took a while to turn on. Ever since that day my phone would take at least 10 minutes to turn on properly meaning it would show the connection battery bar but it would stay like that for a while and then it'll show that intro that Samsung has when you turn on your phone and it takes a while to finally start showing my home screen and all the apps that I have. Today for some reason when I put the charger on my phone it'll show the connection battery bar and then the screen goes all black then it goes back to the connection battery bar then it goes all black again and thats been going on for almost the whole day now. So I decided to take the battery out and just wait for a while then I put it back in and it still keeps doing the same thing it shows that its charging but it doesn't want to turn on fully it doesn't show my home screen nor the apps nor my lock screen it just goes to the battery bar then it goes all black then it goes to the battery bar then it goes all black. That happens only when I charge my phone but when I take off the charger my phone doesn't turn on at all. I have hold on the buttons on my phone to see if it'll turn on but it doesn't work at all. Can anyone please tell me how to fix that??

@alvarez, Irene, Rice would have done very little to save your phone. Stop charging or powering up your device until the liquid damage is addressed correctly, as you could be shorting out components inside the phone. You really should take care of the corrosion that is happening inside the phone from the water damage as that could be your problem. A tear down link for your device Link #1, disassembly guide will enable you to get inside the phone to remove the damage/corrosion caused by the liquid. Use the 2nd link as a guide/instruction on how to clean/repair the device from liquid damage. After this you will be able to power on the phone and see if further damage has to be addressed. If not wanting to attempt this have a good local cell/computer repair shop have a look and estimate repair. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
