I recently replaced my iPhone 6s Plus screen and digitizer. i did everything right and my screen works perfectly fine. there's a huge problem though, when i put my screen on all the way (like, to seal it shut) it turns black and unresponsive. i know my phone is still on and working. it vibrates when i call it or plug it in etc.. i don't know what to do!

Check that the connectors are staying connected and did you replace all the screws to the proper holes . There are three different length screws and if you put them in the wrong spots you can damage the phone . Please refer to the guide at step 16 iPhone 6s Plus Screen Replacement

i don't have the top or battery screws in because i wanted to see if the phone would work before i screwed the plates down.
If there not screwed down then the cables will come undone as soon as you close the phone, the covers hold the cables in place. but be sure to put the screws in the right spots or you'll destroy the phone

Guys. It's the display cables. She..'s asking because it works, but surprised why there's a problem, when the display is closed and the phone is "back together". Sounds like a bad cable to me. Seen that happen. You'll want to exchange it from where you got it from. Or get a refund, PayPal usually sides with the buyer. Then you could find a quality display

Try a hard reset. This is common. If that doesn't work, double check the connections. If still black, testeith other screen. If that one works, you have a faulty screen.
