Hi kimjg97, if, by repair, you mean you replaced the screen, I'm afraid that the phone is no longer water proof. If it were repaired by Samsung, then you should be fine. As shown in the comment section of the display repair on the Samsung Galaxy S7, the author, Brian, confirmed that the water resistance feature is no longer present.

I've been looking into this. I've found some tape on aliexpress. Supposed to be water resistant. I'll have to try them out. The nice upside is that it isn't a roll of tape, it's a sheet you lay onto the frame/display $5 a piece. Not terrible
