Both screens, top and bottom, are miscolored any clue on what's going on

My 3ds top and bottom screen are miscolored like it'll go pink blue white yellow but originally it seemed like the black screen death scenario but then when I took out the battery for five minutes it work but the screen was miscolored, clues on how to fix it?
