cannot get rubber frame free

cannot get rubber frame free-on iP4500 Can you post a photo or tell how it looks? Is this possible to do without taking printer apart? I tried and tried but need to be sure I pulling at the correct thing. There is no feel of soft rubber. Would be great if you could post a photo. Can the old pads be washed? I did that and they look clean or are new ones necessary? Hate to wait for new if it's not going to work. Error A600- Power lamp flashes green and and alarm button flashes alternately orange and green- Just wanted to give u enough info. Read on another site that problem was absorber pads but then I found your great site , and am wondering if they were wrong about my specific problem. This senior thanks you a million for your help!
