Black screen; cannot login
Laptop was working fine, opened to use it and can hear the fan but screen is black. I tried power off and back on, still nothing. Any ideas?

Unplug it, Remove the battery, Hold the power button down for 30 seconds, Put the battery back, plug it in, try the power button.

I have the same problem. The screen goes blank as soon as Windows starts loading.
The issue is the graphics adaptor driver, and Lenovo tech support says there is no fix yet.
Do you still have this problem?

Have you tried connecting an external monitor?
Have you tried starting in 'safe mode'?
If it was working before why would the graphics adapter driver suddenly need to be fixed? Was there an update that caused this to happen?
What is the model number of your laptop and what OS is installed?
