Hi @needtoknowthis ,

I don't know your light but according to the specifications, the WakaWaka light battery is 800mA, AAA size.

As you state that it is 3.6V (they do not specify the voltage) if you place 3 x 800 mA Ni-MH AAA batteries in series you will have 3.6V @ 800mA as each battery is 1.2V and the total current capacity in 'series' connection stays the same, i.e. 800mA. (each battery is connected +ve of one battery to -ve of the next, with only one -ve end and one +ve end to the whole "battery") Perhaps they have set up the battery 'holder' in the light for this connection type.

You should be able to buy standard rechargeable 800mA AAA Ni-MH batteries most anywhere. Alternatively if the batteries require a solder tab connection (example) then you may have to either search online for suppliers or check out 'electronic' parts retailers.

Hopefully this is of some help
