headband snapped on my headphones, but it's enclosed in padding/fabric

i accidentally leaned on the back of my headphones and the headband snapped. it's enclosed in fabric and padding, so I'm not sure how to get to it without cutting the fabric. they're still usable, but kind of unstable

Hey i fixed mine by unscrewing the silver part of the head band that says turbine. Then i cut an amazon gift card in half and slid on half on top of the break one on the bottom and taped them together. The i screwed the fabric back it the silver part and they were as good as new and barely looked different.

I got my pair lying on the shelf for last two years maybe and finally got to repair it using a couple of plastic cards, typed to headband. Good as new. Thank you, sir.
