The sixth-generation Honda Civic was introduced in 1995. It retained its class-leading handling as it, along with the fourth and fifth generations, had front double wishbone suspension, the advanced independent suspension inspired by Honda's racing research.

Ashley Parks , I believe the fuel/break line plastic line support channel/shield is held up in place by a couple quick nuts and threaded studs which are welded directly to floor(remove the nuts), there may also be a few plastic pull ties around the channel which you will have to snip off, also may be held in place by a few push clips on rocker pinch weld. A lot of repairers will through this plastic shield away because of the salt/dirt/moisture it traps speeding the corrosion of the steel lines and will use insulated clips and self tapping crews to support the lines instead. Be prepared to replace more then one line, as soon as you start disturbing the lines the weak/corroded lines are bound to leak. Actually may be best to replace them all if corroded for safety sake. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

A '99 Honda Accord LX sedan. I had a terrible time removing the plastic shield covering the fuel & brake lines. I also replaced part of the rotted brake line with flared copper line and couplings. Titan has a great 3/16 flaring tool. Tomorrow I will replace 2 of the 3 fuel lines with copper/nickel using 5/16 compression fittings. Lines are not leaking yet but rusted on sections. The 3rd line is the vapor line and looks OK. I was trying figure how to secure the lines. I will used part of the plastic cover that holds the lines and maybe the cover. There are 3-4 studs with what looks like a 17mm plastic bolt. these push on the studs but will not loosen unless they are unscrewed. Took me a while to figure this out. There are metal brackets on either end that bolt to the underside.
