Replaced LCD, but new one is all white!
I have a 16gb 2nd gen touch that was given to me. It had a broken LCD and a broken front glass/digitizer. The Ipod would sync with Itunes and play music in my car, but the LCD would not light up/turn on. I bought a replacement LCD and a whole front panel assembly. I successfully disassembled the Ipod and took out the bad screen. I put the new LCD in and before putting the front panel back on I decided to power it on to check the LCD. all the shows up is a solid white screen. I was wondering if anyone had an idea what it could be. I have read several posts here and here. Is it a bad logic board or is it a crappy LCD that I purchased off of eBay? I would prefer to do some things before i seal up the Ipod so any input regarding the LCD/ inside of the Ipod would be appreciated as I don't want to keep opening and closing the Ipod.
Thanks,

Is dit een goede vraag?
well I restored my Ipod 2 times and the screen works now. In order to the the touchscreen to respond I have to push on the screen very hard and the home button doesn't work at all. I have restored it again with the same results. please take note that i did buy the whole front panel assembled with home button and all. Any ideas?
