Why wont my iPod touch turn on and charge?

so i kinda got mad at home and took my anger out on my blanket, not remembering that my new ipod touch 5 was inside of it and when i took it out, it was SCALDING hot like so hot it overheated for like 3 minutes until it cooled down, and fearing it wasnt gonna work anymore, i put my usb charger and it was showing just a black screen saying its charging but all it shows is that, the apple logo wont show up at all !! i tried charging it for hours but it still says the same thing and theres a small hole on the back of the ipod plus its been on low battery

what can i do??

how much would that cost? the screen and buttons are perfectly fine

you can get a battery from ifixits store but i would not sagest not doing it yourself because of risk of damaging the device

@amzad89 it would require soldering though, I would just say bring it to someone and explain your story, maybe they will feel bad and give you a discount.
