Fat Ps2 Wont Spin Any Disks

Hello I have a fat ps2 and i took it apart awhile back to clean the console because. I disconnected the power ribbon from under the DVD drive then I just cleaned it up with some compressed air and some cotton swabs without any thing on them.. After I did that i couldn't get the power cable back in under the DVD drive so i disconnected the two ribbon cables from under the DVD drive. After that i plugged the power cable under the DVD drive. but than i released that the ribbon cables were hard to get them back in so i gave up for a few months in the months that the ps2 was taken apart i made sure not to drop it or get dust on it ect. Earlier this week i tried it again and i got the dvd drive plugged in the ribbon cables for under the DVD drive. i went to turn it on everything works but it wont read any disks. what i mean by this is that you can put in any disk ps2 games, ps1 games, movies ect. Not one will spin. I can go into the main ps2 screen were i can go to settings or browser it shows that the DVD drive is there but wont be spin any disks that i put into it. It used to read disks before it apart im pretty sure i didn't break anything because i took apart consoles in the past and they still work. I Googled the problem and look around and i cant find anything thats working i tried cleaning the laser and everything but i dont think its the laser but i could be wrong. all the cables are plugged in. Is there any solutions or should go buy and new spindle ?

I know there is problems like this on the ps2 slim but i cant find any working solutions for the fat ps2. Also the Ps2 has a mod chip in it that was installed by a person years ago.

It's also entirely possible that somewhere in the process of disassembly you might have crimped or tore the spindle motor ribbon cable. Thankfully, replacements are available on eBay for cheap and alternatives like softmodding with Free McBoot and using solid-state storage are possible (ask me how I know this stuff XD)

It could also be the laser ribbon cable... If the laser isn't working correctly, the disk also won't spin. Please check all ribbon cables to be sure.

i have the same problem too, it is possible that the disc motor is broken (At least thats what i think the problem is)

if it shows no error its most likely the disc motor.
