I am happy with my device, but I have a consern. On my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, my home and menu buttons recently stopped working. I would like to know if its easy to fix, and if so how, or if its a problem with my device. Thanks!

Turn off the tab, then press power + vol up + home all together until it turns on. You should see some text in the corner that says "RECOVERY MODE" If the tablet goes into recovery mode, then the home button is working, its just the software. You can factory reset the tablet in settings.

Didnt work but got one problem my tablet home button doesnt work i cant take a screen shot or go home screen or anything when i press my home button it doesnt do anything
if I factory reset will I lose all my pictures?
I accidentaly turned my Tab Mini 7 into the Guest mode, but then my recents button dont work, i cant see my notifies ad i cant install apps. What to do? I'm in $@$*?
I have a Galaxy Tab A model SM-T280, and within the last 2 days it has stopped showing Apps I recently viewed saying on the screen "No Recent Used Apps", yet I have accessed various apps I have, and nothing shows when I tap the box at the bottom of my screen. What is the deal here, is it some type of item was accidentally shut off and can be fixed or is it something more?
Home button and recent apps button and drop down menu not working. Took tab to experts then to Samsung was told motherboard fault.
Finally, reset to factory settings TWICE ONE AFTER THE OTHER and when rebooted EVERYTHING WORKS. Reloaded all apps and as good as new.

i have the same prob in my samsung tab s the recent botton as stopped workin after i did an update version and i find out that when i on a save power mode it start working
i still didnt find a solution for the problem when i on a normal mood

Why is just a few letter not working after hard rest I can't log into wifi to continue like a new tablet far as made it was hello to samsung galaxy elite an then wifi far as I got I can't type in my password to connect to wifi I wonder why this
