Will the 2010 15 MacBook Pro Battery Work With the Mid 2009

I notice that the Battery for the mid 2010 15" MacBook Pro battery has 77.5-watt-hour non-removable lithium-polymer, which i guess lasts longer then the mid 2009 which is a 73-watt-hour non-removable lithium-polymer.

Can you use the mid 2010 15" MacBook Pro Battery with the mid 2009 15" MacBook Pro?

I dont have any side by side comparison but they appear to be the same size. Would The mid 2009 MBP accept the battery? My guess is that it will work just fine except that it lasts a little longer. My guess is that the MBP will display a longer "time remaining" status when compared to the original battery.

Only question is, is the amp and voltage on the battery the same between the two different MBP models. I know my mid 2009 system profile display this about the battery. Amperage (mA): 658, Voltage (mV): 12565.

Or is my question, does the 2010 and 2009 model have the same voltage and amp requirments from the battery.

Will the mid 2010 battery work with mid 2009 MBP?
