No Service Baseband or Sim Reader?

Hey guys I have an iPhone 6 Plus I've been researching this for a couple of hours and couldn't really find an exact answer. The Phone Detects the Sim comes up "Searching" then after a couple of seconds says "No Service" shows the imei in the settings dialling *#06# doesn't show anything.

I've updated to the latest Firmware after receiving the Phone (Bought from eBay).

Now From the research I've done its come down to Baseband Chip or Sim Reader all the pins look intact (Hasn't been water damaged) it also shows what Carrier I'm with in settings. I myself are leaning towards the Sim Reader but unsure or could it be just the Antenna? Any help would be hugely Appreciated.

Thanks.

Edit: Date and Time checked and are right.

No worries. I just always start with the most simple thing and work my way up.

I just had an iPhone 6 doing this same exact thing. Detected SIM, just would not connect to any network. I disconnected the battery, blew it out really good with compressed air and let it sit in timeout for an hour to think about what it had done. When it came out of timeout, it worked like a champ.

Yeah I have put it logic board into an Ultrasonic cleaner and then into 99% ISO and gave it a light scrub with a brush and then left it to dry for half an hour or so but still doesn't want to work. So I think it's definitely hardware

I've fixed this issue by replacing the antenna switch under the bottom (stubborn) shield on the front of the board. The part is rf5159. It is definitely not a problem with the Sim tray, as it clearly detects the Sim.

Since the imei appears in settings, I'd say the baseband is good. I'm not sure, but I feel as if the dialing *#06# receives the imei through the network (can anyone confirm this?) So it wouldn't show if it wasn't connected.

If the phone has been disassembled/ reassembled immediately prior to this malfunction, ensure that each antenna connection is clearly and cleanly secured. Checking that each screw is in its place.

imei shows in settings but doesn't when dialling *#06# I will have a look at RF5159 I will try a reflow of the chip first to see if it is the problem if it doesn't work after the reflow I will most likely just replace it to be on the safe side will get back to you if That fixed it just waiting on my new station to get here. Thanks

Update: reflowed RF5159 still no Service/Searching. Went on and reflowed Baseband still the same issue. Any other ideas?
