Camera board copper pin broken

So I opened my iMac to replace the hard drive and on my way back to put it together I saw this pin that was bent. And as I tried to bend it back, I broke it. So now there is only one pin instead of two. Is that going to be a problem? What is that copper pin for? Can I fix it? You can see in the image the remaining pin circled in red. The right pin I broke off.

I have not worked on this iMac for years, but copper pins usually means it it making contact with something to power the component. Is there anything above it with copper pads, which it will make contact with when reassembled? If there is, you might have to make your own copper pin (use something conductive) to allow it to make contact.

If not, just reassemble it and try it out.

I already put the iMac together and tried programs that make use of the camera. I can't tell that there is a problem since I can see my self in Skype and such. The copper pins seem to touch the aluminum bezel once you reassemble the iMac. I did think of soldering some piece of copper wire to mimic the pin. But I thought that maybe I could replace the whole thing should the missing pin be a problem. You mentioned that you haven't worked with my particular model, but don't they all have the same camera board?

If it is working, I would leave it, I don't imagine it will cause any problems. I rarely work on iMacs but I think the board is different to the ones I have seen on more recent models
