I am looking for the teardown video or report of the Microsoft Surface Studio.

The screen is cool, and the dial and pen are usefull to me as an architect, but,...........
I want to know if the Surface Studio is upgradable...More RAM?....Bigger hardrive(s)?.....
For $3000 I'll want it to keep going for a few years.

The good news is you have two drive interfaces a standards based M.2 SSD and a 2.5" SATA HD so if needed you can alter or gain access to your drives.
The bad news here is like Apple the RAM is soldered! What you buy is what you get! No future upgrades other than a complete logic board swap-out.
Another piece of good news here is gaining access to either drive is a lot easier and less risky than Apples iMac.

The "Rapid Hybrid Drive" seems to be an M.2 PCIe SSD and a 2.5" hard drive.
Unfortunately, the memory looks like it's soldered on-board.

Me too. Who needs an anorexic desktop attached to a 28 inch screen! Makes very little sense apart from aesthetics

I emailed iFixit and they said that they'd look into it but that "Unfortunately we can't do a teardown of every device. I have forwarded your inquiry to our technical writing department, who spearhead the teardowns. They'll see if they can squeeze in your suggested teardown, but unfortunately they're super busy --so I can't promise anything!"
So, I doubt that we will be seeing the innards of this device anytime soon...

It's not just any device. Its a potential game changing device! It would be worse than not tearing down the macbook pro
