Got all the instructions for taking the iPod apart.
First instruction explains that the white part is glued on.
There is no completion step explaining (or providing some
tips) for glueing the white plastic top and bottom pieces back on.
Any suggestions please?

I would recommend some contact adhesive that is commonly used in hobbies and cloth trims of cars
this is what i did with my Ipod mini
be careful around the hold switch area
