I have a black screen on my iPhone 6

My iphone 6 has a black screen it wont turn on, but I can receive calls, but that is it. How can I fix it?

This is a belated answer so hopefully it can be of use to folks who search for and find this question.

The first thing to figure out is whether this is a backlight issue or LCD issue. Start by connecting your phone to an iTunes enabled computer. If the phone is working, iTunes should recognize it. While that is happening, shine a bright light on the screen. If you can see a dim image (logo, home page etc.) then the issue you have is with the backlight/backlight driver circuit. If you see no image at all, then the problem is with the LCD/LCD driver circuit.

At this point, trying a known-good replacement screen will help you isolate if this is a screen related problem or a logic board issue. Logic board issues will require a micro-soldering repair and are not DIY.
