I have a co-worker that had the same problem, You turn on the computer it would start to boot and then blue screen and start all over no matter how you tried to boot it, it was running on Windows XP, the message was unmountable boot drive, he needed a document from that drive, so I removed the hard drive with the help of this web site, and I stress that I would not have tried doing this without the help of this repair guide, and I installed it in My computer, I booted My computer and it automatically did a check disk on that netbook drive, it deleted a couple files and restored several other files during the operation, after I copied the file he wanted I took the hard drive out and put it back in the netbook and the darn thing started right up and ran great, not only did he get the file he needed but got his netbook running again, I am not sure this will help anybody else but it work like a champ for Me.

+ correct most of the time the BSOD is caused by device drivers, and errors in the OS related to spyware/malware

I just repaired this very model with this same problem. At first, not knowing that it had a SSD, I tested it with Maxtor Powertools and the drive failed. I assumed I'd have to replace the drive, reinstall the OS and go on about my day...but once I realized I was working with an SSD, I went back to square one. I couldn't get the computer to boot into any mode, normal, safe or last known good config so I wiped the drive and reinstalled the OS. I assume that the drive encountered some improper shutdown at some point and it messed up the OS files.

This model had XP Home installed on it so I had to go thru the process of creating an XP bootable usb stick, but once that's done, the rest is easy.

Same thing happened to me. You need to restore your BIOS. do a search on Acer One bios restore. After I followed the simple instructions to download the BIOS tool onto a USB and forced a reburn on my Acer, it booted up normally and all is fine. Before that it would only run for a few seconds and power down.
