The sim card reader (2) isn't reading my sim and sd card

The sim card reader (2) isn't reading my sim and sd card , i did check the sim on other phones , the fault is in the sim card reader . Couldn't find a single solution on youtube , i really dnt want to replace the main board for this small issue . Any help in this regard ,(maybe a step to step process manual) would be a great help... Thanks
