Why won't my apps load up

The problem is that my PS 3 80 GB fat model CECHG01 WILL accesses the internet but the PlayStation Store, YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon apps won't open. I can go to those site via the browser but the apps that come with the machine will freeze up the system when I try to open them. Yes the machine had been opened when I bought it and some stuck in a none working cd drive. PlayStation help chat has been no help. What do I do?
