Glass replacement - home button resistance on push

Hi everyone,

Recently I replaced the glass on two iPhones 3GS. But every time, the home buttons feels a bit stuck. They don't 'click' anymore. It feels like there is some resistance. Does anybody have experienced the same problem? If so, is there a solution?

Thanks,

naf

Gekozen oplossing

I think set up is the same as 3g...open display up again, turn over and have a look at the 2 gold prongs on back of home button, sometimes they get flattened during taking apart. just slide a flathead screw driver under and lift slightly. just be gentle as they break easily (learned the hard way)also clean top of dock where they make connection.

Thanks, but I don't have any problems with home buttons not working. The home buttons just don't make the 'click' sound when I press on them. They don't feel as smooth as before. It feels like they aren't fitted well.

nope, it still works it just takes more pressure? this sorted it for me several times.

Indeed, it takes more pressure. It feels like they are a bit stuck. How do I resolve this problem?
