Skipping songs with voice over repeatedly using headphones only
When listening with headphones voice over keeps announcing titles while songs skip. Ok listening with USB connection in car

seems like you have a damaged headphone jack.

The headphone jack casing may be bent. Look at the audio jack, and see if there is anything bent. If not, stick some headphones in, play music, and see if it stops when you press the audio plug to the side.
Most likely, it's just a bent headphone casing part. Bend it out with something just as thin as that (Not a pencil).

A long story. I purchased my first Shuffle in Iran in 2008. It lasted until 2016 -GREAT! I purchased a new Shuffle in October 2016 and it died before the second charge. Apple gave me a second Shuffle that died a few hours later. I traded up to the current Nano. I am on my second charge and I too experience the same voice over and when this starts the song will skip through the next song as well. Sometimes, the voice will stop the music and I have to hit the start button to continue but I always end up picking a new song to stop the voice over. This issue comes and goes but does not seem to have a pattern. Could this be an ear phone issue? Any ideas?
