Why is the MacBook beeping
i placed the new ram in the macbook and all it did was beep, no image on the monitor.

Either the RAM is bad, or not compatible with your machine. What are the RAM specs? Are you sure you properly seated them? Did u feel a slight "thump" when inserting them?

Majesty's right, the beep means that the computer cannot detect any RAM.
