Lcd sometimes works, but most of the time doesnt work

I have a iPhone 6s that has a shattered glass. the phone its self is still on and making phone calls, receiving calls, makes noise and everything, but nothing was showing, so I thought the lcd was bad. I got the replacement lcd and tried to test it but it still didn't show anything. From this point I figured there was nothing I could do so I put the old cracked lcd back on the phone and put it back together. I put it on charge afterwards and was kind of playing with it, but then the cracked lcd screen came on and was working really good. But then at random, the lcd would go black again. so I put the new lcd back on it and it worked good for a few minutes, but then again the lcd went black agian. if I reset the phone, it will start working again, but it will stop working once I receive a phone call or make a phone call, sometimes. I have no idea what the problem is and I really need solution quick. Please!!

Actually i figured out that the small back light component was half way burnt out. After some micro soldering, i managed to replace that small component and now it works great!

What do you mean by the "small back light component."

Where is it located?

The back light component is not at all a easy thing to replace. It is a very small piece of metal. It is about the size of half a ball point pin under neath the black tape by the LCD and Digitizer connections. There are many components for many different things. You need to have someone who is an expert with micro soldering in order to do this job. It requires a lot of expensive tools and lots of experience

Thank you for replying to my question.

It's always nice that we cell phone and computer geeks/nerds communicate with each other.

The backlight filter usually gets blown when the front screen cables get unplugged or plugged with the battery plugged in. Make sure to unplug battery if you haven't already before removing any ribbon cables to avoid shorting the logic board components on accident.

@benjamen50 thats really good advise. A lot of people do not realize how crucial that can be, but it can happen with any phone. Thanks for that man

probably a problem with the connection between the screen and the motherboard, check for damaged wires or connectors, and if you can not get it to work it might be worth it to take it to a professional.

motherboard looks fine. I noticed that they align the plug in with glue to better seal the digitizer and lcd cables down, so I'm thinking that they might be pushing it up. I have mastered all the iphones and most galaxys, so i am really looking to try and fix it myself. I don't want to take it anywhere else because i want to learn how to fix all the problems.
