Water in door not working, leaks inside refrigerator.

First, the ice maker works fine. When I try to get water from the door, no water comes out, but I can hear water running inside the refrigerator. Water settles in the bottom of the refrigerator side. It sounds like the water is spraying about mid-way up the back of the refrigerator side behind the panel and running down. I assume there is a broken line or loose connection there. What is the routing of the water-to-door water line? I had assumed that the line ran from the dual valve at the rear bottom of the unit under the fridge to the lower freezer hinge. Is there another line that flows when water-in-the door is requested?

This refrigerator is in a VERY tight location and will have to be pulled out and then moved sideways to access the back of the unit.( Pulled out, I have 3 inches to vacuum the back)

Most Frequent Causes for Refrigerator water dispenser not working

Cause 1

Water Tube in Door is Frozen

To determine if the water supply tube is frozen, disconnect the tube at the bottom of the door and blow air through it. If air does not pass through, this indicates that the water supply tube is frozen. If the water supply tube is frozen, thaw it out. In addition, ensure that the freezer is kept at the proper temperature. The freezer temperature should be kept from 0-10 degrees Fahrenheit. If the freezer is too cold, the water line may freeze.

Cause 2

Water Inlet Valve

The water inlet valve opens to supply water to the dispenser. If the water inlet valve is defective, or if the water pressure is too low, the water valve will not open. The valve requires at least 20psi to function properly. Make sure that the water pressure to the valve is at least 20 psi. If the water pressure is sufficient, use a multimeter to test the water inlet valve for continuity. If the water inlet valve does not have continuity, replace it.

Cause 3

Low Water Pressure from House Supply

The home may have insufficient water pressure. The water inlet valve supplies water to the water dispenser. The water inlet valve requires a minimum of 20 psi to function properly. Check the water flow and test the pressure to determine if it is at least 20 psi.

I kind of have similar problem with a GE side by side with water and Ice in door. Fridge is in non heated garage, so I shut water off and clear lines. Went to turn water on and run water through it. Then noticed water running out of fridge. Pulled a couple drawers out, to see water running down the "U" shaped tubes in the back. Seems to only do it when using the water.

@bbdano126 I'd look for a tube that might have retained water and frozen and cracked the tubing. Posting a few photos might help.
