Need to find and change the keyboard on my Razerblade! Help? Please?

So the problem I currently have is as follows. I have spilled tea on my razerblade, but not too much, so it works fine (and has been for the past few months), but about 4 keys don't work. I brought it to a local computer repair shop and they say the keyboard needs to be replaced but everything else is fine. The problem is that I cannot buy the keyboard anywhere for this laptop and I've contacted razerblade in America and they told me they cannot sell the keyboard separately so they asked me to send my laptop to them, but they cannot return to a UK address (so absurd!).

I was wondering if someone may be able to help me with this issue? Basically I guess I need the keyboard replaced. Perhaps you know where to get it or perhaps there is a keyboard that fits razerblade laptops too? Or maybe someone broke their laptop beyond repair but the keyboard is intact and I could use it for my laptop?

I would be very grateful for any help.

PS. I love razerblade laptops but their customer service sucks big time.

what year model do you have? I have keyboards in stock for the 2013, 2014, and 2015 models with the green backlight. I do not have the chroma ones however. I'd be happy to help if you have any questions. Feel free to ask.

I am having a problem with my keyboard and I am not sure if it is the same kind of problem. I have used my razerblade 2014(not pro) for two years and have used it for probably over 10,000 hours. Recently I have had to use a seperate keyboard because my keyboards 'A' key has stopped working. I took off the key and everything, tried replacing the parts. Even when i try and use my finger to press down on the pressure pad, it will not activate. Will i need to swap out my whole keyboard to just fix this or can i do this in a more simple way?

Hi, if its just the "A" key that has stopped working, I would try taking at least 90% isopropyl alcohol or higher and cleaning under that key really well with a q tip/cotton swab. If it still doesnt work after that, then its most likely completely worn out.

Thanks for the help. What you told me worked but I have one more question. Should the rubber cup inside the key be secured down with some kind of adhesive?

door

Awesome. The rubber cup should not be falling out or moving side to side much. By default it is not held by adhesive, it is held by being wrapped around the back of the opening inside the keyboard. I would not want to use adhesive on it, for fear that it would ruin it completely.

ok thanks for all the help!
