What is the model info for the gyrometer/accelerometer in note 5?

Hi. My gyrometer/accelerometer in my Verizon note 5 stopped working...I tried factory resetting, dialing *#0*# and nothing pops up, and also calibrating it. It seems like the sensor is off or unresponsive. I am not able to rotate the screen, take pictures, watch videos in landscape Is it an easy repair to replace it? Is it modular? And what is the model information for the sensors used? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dan

1.The first recommendation is to do "hard reset"

2.An effective method to check if the phone’s gyroscope or accelerometer is functioning by doing a self-test. This will help to see what the real issue is when the Samsung Note 5 screen won’t rotate. You can do this by pressing the code “*#0*#” (without the quotation marks) on the Samsung Note 5 dial pad. Once you are in the service mode screen, tap on “sensors” and do a self test. f your wireless carrier disabled the option to access the service screen, then your only recourse here is to reset the phone to its factory defaults.

3.Another out-of-the-box tip from some is to hit the Samsung Note 5 with the back of your hand to give your phone a gentle jolt. If you want to take the risk, you may want to do that, just be careful.
