@rmartin help me to understand why you would "bake" it if you do not know what you are trying to reflow? I am confused by that.

Ive seen videos of baking logic boards but i think just the ram chips are left uncovered for the reflow and the rest covered in foil so not to melt everything

I just successfully baked my logic board back to life! My late 2011 17" MacBook Pro shut down while working hard in a hot office. After much drive-swapping, hardware testing and unsuccessful internet recovery, I took it all apart and baked the logic board for 7 minutes at 340º. Put it back together and much to my surprise it works again! Bake it suspended on little tinfoil legs, remove everything that you can (RAM, in my case a speaker module, etc) and bake. It's a great last resort. It also worked for a friend of mine in the past.

I just did the logic board bake on my Macbook Air mid 2011. It worked great. There are some write up's out there on how to disassemble. 7.3 minutes @ 375 degree F. Only thing is people say it won't last very long - maybe couple or a few months. But then you just do the bake again.

My initial bake only lasted a week or two. I pulled it apart and did it a second time ( I wasn't even particularly careful about any of it since I assumed it was done). This time I gave it an extra 20 seconds or so beyond the recommended 7 minute bake time. It's still holding up after a couple of months.

The three beeps indicate a RAM issue. Try reseating the RAM, then do one stick at a time in each of the slots to test both the RAM and the slots. Use your oven to bake cookies, not logic boards.

I cant reseat the ram as its all in one on the logic board and cannot be removed separately
