Nothing but color lines after repairing screen
Cracked my ipad mini screen, got a replacement after installing lcd displays nothing but a screen full of lines of various colors

Have you tried resetting the LCD connectors and do a soft reset by holding the power and home button at the same time until apple logo appears let go of both buttons and let it reboot. If that doesn't solve the issue it could be a defective LCD.

Thanks for you response, yes I tried a soft boot, reset the LCD connectors. I suspect the LCD is compromised since I broke off a mounting tab while repairing. I have ordered another LCD, hope this solves the problem.
