Fan spinning without stopping and not detecting any hard drives

Hello, so I decided to clean and change the thermal paste on my macbook pro, and after the deed, I put it all back together. Now, when it starts, the fan spins at maximum capacity all the time, and my hard drive isn't detected. I've launched ASD and it tells me the only problem with it is the fan motor, since it can't regulate it, but other than that every sensor is in good shape. Thanks for any help you could give me, it's probably a really dumb solution, but it's the first time I've done this !

Why did you replace the thermal paste? Were you getting a lot of beachballs?

Then you have a deeper problem here than just the fan. I would suspect you'll need to take the system appear again and review the IFIXIT guide steps to locate what you did wrong. Here's the IFIXIT guide you should review: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2010 Logic Board Replacement

But what should I review? I don't think I did anything wrong, but just in case, if I put thermal paste but chose to use the heatsink to spread it and not do it myself, could it pose a problem?
