I'm having two major issues:
1. My laptop overheats and shuts off
2. I spilled a little bit of water on the keyboard, I cleaned the water off right away, but three keys won't work now. (So hard to type with three letters missing, especially S & D. )
I need to know if I can repair this myself and what parts and tools I will need?

As for tools and parts all laptops are a little different. A good first step is always to remove the motherboard from your laptop and use some isoproplyl alcohol to clean any corrosion on the board of the device. I don't know if ifixit has a guide for that laptop, but you can always check youtube! If the computer still does not work after a clean with alcohol i would look into visiting a repair shop to try a ultrasonic cleaning or a motherboard repair.
