Why can't I get my ipad to charge?

The first thing you need to do is to check your cable or connector make sure it's cleaned. You may also try to use another charger, cable/connector or adapter; maybe it's already damaged or not fully compatible with your iPad. Another suggestion try to check or use another power outlet. If none of these basic solutions works with your iPad. Try the "Hard Reset" hold down your iPad Power on/off button and the home button at the same time, held them down until apple logo comes out. at this point your iPad has been rebooted. Then try plugging it again with the cable or connector, If your iPad starts to charge then you did a great job! if still not you may directly contact an authorized apple repair shop or the apple support.
