Can it accept 220V power?

Do you know if a 110V samsung TV can actually accept 220V power? The power supply says 110-220V on the inside, but on the outside (on the sticker with model name and other info) it says 110V.

Mark the master electrician needs to travel more. Outlets in the Philippines look kust like US 110 outlets but are 220v. Europe isnt the only place with 220.

a1challenged yes it can. Always check a power supply not just for voltage but frequency as well. Yours is a 110/220V and it should be 50/60hZ. Post an image of your power supply with your question to verify. Use this guide to do so

mark, I am aware that hz is not volts. Those are hertz nor did I anywhere imply that it does. European house hold voltage is 220V and 50Hz frequency. The power supply in this TV is a dual voltage power supply, it supports 110/220 V and a frequency of 50/60Hz. So, yes you can use it. As for a plug, you are correct it will not fit any outlet if it is North American style. This is not to say that you cannot use either a plug adapter or install a different power cord. If you read the question, it does not ask if the plug fits, but if the power supply can accept 220V. "ASE Certified Master technician 30 years" congratulations on that, great career choice.
