Replacing one cracked screen with another iPhone 5's new screen.

So I have a white iPhone 5 that's screen is pretty banged up. My friend who recently upgraded his phone but has an BLACK iPhone 5 offered me his screen i I could learn up to fix it on my own. First off, will there be any problems when I transplant the screens (they are not of the same color)? And also, what items will I need to ensure a perfect job.

No you will not have any issues with doing the screen replacement on a iPhone 5. Will be a pretty easy fix just follow the guides, on fixit. Plus you will not need to remove the small parts like home button or camera, and other sensors. I've had many people change the color of their screens. People with iPhone 5s and newer normally don't do it because the home but has to be transferred so you would have white screen and black home button.

Its a simple repair, You remove both pentalobe screws on the bottom and disconnect the battery and remove the shield plate that holds the LCD connectors down and that it. You don't have to transfer anything over because its the same model and color doesn't matter when installing. You'll be done in 10 minutes.
