Hello Janice Moore, did the phone just stop taking a charge or has the phone been dropped, water damaged or any other things you may have noticed recently before this issue? Did it shut off due to a low battery and wont power back on? Do you see the charge LED indicator light up when you plug in a charger? If so what color is it and is it blinking or a solid light? Does your screen display anything when you plug it into a charger, such as a battery icon with an exclamation point in it? Can your PC recognise the Phone when plugged in? If you could answer a few of these questions I can better help you figure out a solution. Could be anything from a bad battery, bad charging port, bad charging cable, and more. So more information can help me figure out what the issue may be, and I can give you a more useful solution. Also let me know what you have already tried doing to solve the issue.
There could be a few different reasons it won't charge. I know for one my HTC seems to be picky with charging cords. Also use a flashlight and check out the charging port for dirt or debris and broken parts in there. Good luck .
