The Apple logo won't go out, so I won't turn on

My iPhone is jailbroken, everything was going right until a few weeks after my battery started to fail. So I decided to reset my phone and erase everything (including the jailbraik) so I went to settings and erased everything from the iPhone, I turned off (while erasing) and the Apple logo appeared. Ever since the logo hasn't go out, so I can't turn it on. I have tried everything to turn it back on. I read on the Internet that if you press the home and sleep button for 10 second and then connect it to iTunes you could turn it back on, but it didn't work and I'm still stuck with the Apple logo. Does anyone knows what I could do? Or if there is a way to reset the iPhone from the inside? Any help is welcome

If the Apple logo goes away after a few seconds then reappears it's likely a faulty or dead battery. These aren't as simple as JUST a power source, they communicate and receive information. Try a replacement battery.

You should also try a DFU mode restore, which will reset everything in your phone and reinstall the factory software from the latest available update (iOS 8.4.1). To do this follow the below instructions

  1. Plug in a MFi (original or certified) cable into your computer with iTunes open. Make sure any firewalls are turned off on the computer.
  2. Plug in your iPhone and wait for iTunes to recognize it. If nothing then proceed to next step.
  3. Press and hold Power + Home button simultaneously for about 25-30 seconds until the screen goes black.
  4. Release the power button and continue holding the home button without letting it go for another 10-15 seconds.
  5. iTunes should recognize a device in DFU Restore mode. Follow the prompts to restore the device. If iTunes pops out an error make sure to write it down and let us know what it is!

Thanks I will try with the battery remplace menor. I tried the DFU, the iPhone was restored but it appeared that the software of the phone was downloading, but It was going to take for about 5 hours, and when there was left 3 hours the phone turned off and the DFU logo disappeared. So I think I'll have to try it again (but right now I don't have much internet)

Failing midway through could be a loss of connection. Again it could be the firewall or a faulty cable. As a last resort you might also try restoring from a 3rd party computer. At the very least you can use that to restore the firmware and then restore your files from iCloud or from iTunes on your personal computer.

I changed the battery, and the Apple logo is still there? What could I do??

Where did you source your battery from? I've seen this occur with a faulty battery. Do you happen to have a different iPhone to test the battery in?
