Battery shortage/ no power

I've been having charging problems with my iPhone 6 since I got it in January.

here is a list of all of the problems:

- It always tells me that OEM chargers aren't certified.

- 1 Amp wall adapters do not charge my phone at all, It has to be at least 2.1 Amps.

- I can go into Walmart and buy a charger and plug it into my cigarette lighter in my car and plug my phone in and my iPhone will not even recognize the charger plugged in. But my friends can plug the same chargers into their phones and it will charge theirs perfectly. (Same thing with charging cases.)

- Sometimes my phone will be on the charger and I will go to sleep and wake back up after 9 hours and it will only be on 60% when most of the time it goes to 100%

- Battery sometimes drops for 20% to 1% instantly

- The main problem now is it died and whenever I try to power it on it doesn't even show the dead battery indicator.

I have done everything that I could possibly do to fix this. I have changed the battery, changed the charging port, and restored to factory settings to 8.4.1 and it still does not work correctly. The warranty was voided whenever I broke the screen so I did not already have a warranty. So does anyone know what is causing these problems?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4.1

more likely to be the Main / Battery switch the TriStar if the device will not come on. with the 6 though it can be the tigris charging ic. the percentage is controlled by a gas gauge in the battery connector to a line in the cpu so battery percentage can only be battery / battery ways / cpu it is possible a damaged filter bead on the sensor circuit can be responsible as can a bad battery.

Agree with Tonyhamre, most likely need a Tigress IC replacement. Google it and watch a couple videos to verify it matches your symptoms.

This is a very particular issue you're having. You have tried all the troubleshooting steps that I would have followed myself. All but one, anyway. It is rumored that storing your phone and/or cable in a humid enviroment can cause corrosion on the lightning connector. This would then in turn damage the lightning connector. While I can't explain the sporadic battery percentage fluxations (May be board level issue), I would attempt to replace the lightning connector assembly. It is possible that no matter what cable you use, your lightning connector isn't making good contact. It could just be dirty as well. Another thing comes to mind as I type this.. Double check the battery connector contacts.

The guide can be found here.

If you want to save a few extra bucks and are up to the task...try scrubbing the connector with something like MG Chemicals Isopropyl Alcohol. Be sure to let it dry completely before use. Ultrasonic cleaners are great for cleaning electronics, too. Be sure to use distilled water only if you take that route.
